RIGOL's brand-new real-time spectrum analyzer is grandly launched!

On August 18, 2025, RIGOL launched the RSA6000 Series real-time spectrum analyzers. Built on the newly upgraded UltraReal platform, it integrates high-performance signal capture, multi-dimensional signal analysis, and flexible, portable deployment—helping engineers capture rapidly changing signals and build an ideal RF test bench.

The new RSA6000 Series real-time spectrum analyzers — a go-to tool for next-level spectrum analysis

1. Superior performance: See more clearly, capture faster

The RSA6000 series makes no compromises in RF performance, ensuring that engineers can observe every detail of the signal:

  • Real-time analysis bandwidth up to 200 MHz; 100% POI (probability of intercept) as fast as 3.83 μs, making transient signals such as frequency hopping and pulses readily visible.
  • In real-time spectrum analysis (RTSA) mode, scanning speed up to 4 THz/s enables rapid sweeps over ultra-wideband spectra, greatly improving spectrum monitoring and interference hunting efficiency.
  • Frequency coverage from 5 kHz to 26.5 GHz meets diverse test needs from low-frequency communications to microwave radar.
  • Excellent phase noise performance as low as −108 dBc/Hz @ 1 GHz, 10 kHz offset provides a clean reference for evaluating the signal quality of oscillators, PLLs, and other critical devices.
  • Displayed average noise level (DANL) as low as −163 dBm/Hz (typ.) makes weak signals easy to capture.

2. Superior analysis: Five modes, multi-function in one instrument

The RSA6000 Series deeply integrates five core measurement modes. With one-click switching, it becomes an analysis expert for different tasks, meeting engineers’ needs at every stage.

  • General spectrum analysis (GPSA): A powerful traditional swept mode with automatic measurements including channel power, adjacent channel power ratio (ACPR), occupied bandwidth (OBW), harmonic distortion, and more.
  • Real-time spectrum analysis (RTSA): Density, waterfall, and PvT (Power vs. Time) views intuitively reveal time/frequency/amplitude dynamics of complex signals—ideal for resolving inter-channel interference, spectrum monitoring, and frequency-hopping analysis.
  • Vector signal analysis (VSA): Optional demodulation with 200 MHz vector demodulation bandwidth to handle broadband communications; assess transmitter quality via constellation, eye diagram, EVM, and related metrics.
  • Analog demodulation (ADM): In-depth analysis for AM/FM/PM analog modulation with automatic measurement of carrier power, modulation depth, frequency offset, and other key parameters.
  • EMI pre-compliance (EMI): Built-in CISPR-compliant filters for conducted and radiated pre-testing to identify and mitigate interference sources, accelerating time-to-market.

3. Superior experience: Flexible deployment, seamless collaboration

The RSA6000 Series breaks free from traditional benchtop constraints to deliver unprecedented flexibility.

  • Touch-optimized UI design: A new touch UI delivers tablet-like smoothness, making complex spectrum measurements intuitive, efficient, and easy.
  • Web control and remote collaboration: No software installation required—access the full control interface and view results in real time via a browser. Enable remote monitoring, collaborative debugging, or instructional demonstrations from anywhere.
  • Rich I/O and programmability: Standard HDMI, LAN, and USB interfaces with a complete SCPI command set and driver support for rapid automated test system development.

One-click switching across five modes, browser-based web control for remote collaboration, and a lightweight, grab-and-go design—RSA6000 is the core platform for engineers across R&D, verification, and troubleshooting, truly delivering a high-end experience in a portable spectrum workstation.

Multi-function in one instrument, ready for diverse test challenges

From cutting-edge research to demanding industrial applications, this spectrum analyzer delivers comprehensive solutions. In wireless communications and RF testing, it supports deep characterization and verification of components and systems. In electronics R&D and production, it helps locate noise/interference sources and ensures rapid, compliant testing on the line. For spectrum monitoring, its outstanding transient capture capability keeps illicit signals from hiding. For EMI pre-tests, it quickly pinpoints conducted and radiated issues to speed product launch.
